While the internet jury seems to be out on whether or not they loved or hated KayCee’s bold look at Primetime Emmys last night, there’s no denying she took a risk. Overall, we think the look works for her. KayCee is a bold girl! And with the makeup making her eyes pop, we think she looked gorgeous! Plus, she felt beautiful, tweeting before she left “Getting ready for #Emmys thank you to Ozlem Dalgic (Hair) and Emmy winner Michele Teleis (make up) you make me feel so Beautiful!!”

Leading up to her appearance at tonight’s Emmys (stay here for pictures), KayCee spent the last 3 days out at various gifting suites in honor of the awards show. She debuted a new, lighter hairdo and was looking incredibly tanned and gorgeous! Be sure to click over to the gallery to see the pics!

Posing with the little minions, KayCee hammed it up on the yellow carpet of the Despicable Me premiere earlier today in Los Angeles. She wore a green patterned maxi-dress with a super cute pair of wedge heel sandals. She looked like she was having a great time at the premiere, hopefully she had just as much fun watching the movie. This fall, KayCee will be making an appearance on the online talk show Gimme Mo’. The show, hosted by friend and former co-star Monique Coleman, is a youth oriented program aimed to hit any and every topic that affects young adults. Some topics covered so far (filmed, not yet released) include gang tattoo removal and teen homelessness. No word yet on what topics KayCee’s interview covered but Monique tweeted this on Friday: “Had a beautiful interview with @kayceestroh, She’s empowering, inspiring, & real. Can’t wait for you to see it this fall on GimmeMo’”

Wednesday night KayCee stepped out to see the opening night of In the Height at the Pantages Theater. She wore a super cute black and white dress and, as per her usual, was all smiles. Fun fact: KayCee’s old HSM co-star Corbin Bleu is currently starring in the same musical on Broadway in NYC.

Last night KayCee caught up with her former CFC costar and friend Shar Jackson on the red carpet of the opening night of Chicago at the Pantages Theater. She donned a simple purple dress that accentuated her now more slender curves plus those cute black boots that we absolutely love! So check out the picture below!

Yesterday afternoon KayCee attended the premiere of Disneynature’s Oceans. As always she looked absolutely stunning. Afterward she tweeted “Just got out of the DisneyNature premiere of Oceans!! It was stunning!!!” and husband Ben tweeted “Oceans premier was sweet!” just moments later. Looks like Oceans has two thumbs up in that house! Check out the pictures and the interview from MaximoTV!

Ever wanted a delicious tortilla soup recipe? We know we have. So when we saw KayCee had dropped by Redbook Magazine and given them a recipe, we had to pass it along to you. So if you try it, let us know how it tastes!

• 5 to 6  (boneless, skinless 4-oz. ) chicken breasts
• 2 clove(s) garlic, minced or 1 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 cup(s) (chopped) onion, about 1 medium onion
• 2  (cans) whole peeled tomatoes , in juice, mashed
• 1 can(s) (10-oz. mild) enchilada sauce, such as La Victoria brand
• 1 can(s) (4-oz. chopped) green chile peppers, such as La Victoria brand
• 2 can(s) (10.75-oz.) condensed, tomato soup
• 1 can(s) (14-oz.) chicken broth
• 1 can(s) (10-oz.) corn
• 1/4 cup(s) ketchup
• 1  bay leaf
• 1 teaspoon(s) salt
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) (ground) cumin
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) chile powder
• 1/4 teaspoon(s) (ground) black pepper
• Nonfat yogurt, for garnish
• (Shredded) nonfat cheddar cheese, for garnish
• (Baked ) tortilla chips, for garnish

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange chicken in a baking dish misted with cooking spray and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until no longer pink in the middle.
2. While chicken is baking, combine all remaining ingredients in a large soup pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil.
3. Shred the cooked chicken with forks and add to the soup. Ladle soup into individual bowls and serve with your favorite low-cal toppings, like a 1 Tbsp. of nonfat yogurt, 1 oz. of shredded nonfat cheddar cheese and up to 5 baked tortilla chips, if desired.

Excuse our delay in this post, but we wanted to avoid spoilers of any kind if possible. But Monday night, if you watched the Celebrity Fit Club finale you watched a night of struggle and ultimate success for our favorite girl KayCee and her CFC co-stars. The episode started with a re-visit to The Punisher, the ultimate obstacle course that they first faced in premiere 8 weeks ago. We were INCREDIBLY nervous for KayCee as she nearly didn’t make it to the top of the tower. With her fear of heights, the accomplishment had to have meant that much more.

After a final PT, the gang headed to weigh in. KayCee donned a sassy LBD and looked absolutely amazing! Once she stepped on the scale, we saw that KayCee lost an overall 29 pounds! She missed her goal by one pound, which has to be a little disappointing, but KayCee wasn’t complaining. Once the others weighed in the over all winners were announced. Jay MacCarroll won the overall prize, but as you can tell from the title, the Blue Team, lead by Ms. Stroh herself, won as a team! In addition to a gym membership and some great workout equipment, the team received vacations to several relaxation destinations. Sounds like a second honeymoon for her and Ben

Now, we don’t have the technology to do the neato “shape-shifting” that VH1 did on the program last night to show the weight loss, but we do have simple pictures.

At the end of March, KayCee was out in full force to support several kid-friendly causes. As you saw in our last post, she went to Chicago to meet students of a Special Needs Theater. When she came back to LA, she headed to the Starlight Children’s Foundation 2010 “A Stellar Night” Gala. The Starlight Foundation works with seriously ill children not only to help with potential recovery, but also improve their quality of life through entertainment, education, and family activities.

KayCee also attend Melanie Segal’s Kid’s Choice Awards Gift Lounge. This gift lounge, while also a part of just about any awards show, was used to benefit Save the Children, a charity focused on creating lasting change for children in need in the US, but also around the world.
