At the annual Halloween Carnival, KayCee stepped out yesterday in her best witch’s costume to support Camp Ronald McDonald. The event was put on so children facing the battle of cancer and their families could have a day of fun. They were treated to carnival games, trick or treating, celebrity autographs, and much more. High School Musical co-star and friend Monique Coleman has started a webseries and foundation called Gimme Mo’ and has not been shy to include the HSM family. Joining forces with Felicity Huffman, Rachel Leigh Cook, Shay Mitchell, the Creative Coalition, and several other popular female superstars, KayCee filmed a short PSA to encourage people to “watch what you watch.” Spearheaded by the Girl Scouts of USA and supports national media literacy initiative for youth. Wanting to check out Adrian Grenier’s new HBO Documentary, KayCee headed out to the red carpet wearing a dazzling red dress! The documentary, based on a 14 year old paparazzo who had followed Grenier, premieres next Tuesday and, from the sounds of it, gets two thumbs up from KayCee. After seeing it, she tweeted “Oh my gosh teenage paparazo was so amazing! I am freaked out and inspired all at the same time. Thank you creative coalition & HBO”

Yesterday afternoon, KayCee got all dolled up to attend the first ever plus-size fashion show to be included in the fashion week. In an AP article, Kaycee was quoted saying “It’s, like, finally! Designers make good clothes, but who’s going to wear them?” And then tweeted us this morning saying “I am so excited about this movement in fashion, it is a big step!”

Thanks to her PR, we know where to spot KayCee next! Monday KayCee will be headed to NYC to take part in the Onestopplus.com fashion show, the First Official Plus Size Runway Fashion Show EVER to be held under the Fashion Week Tents on September 15th at 1pm at the Lincoln Center. It is to benefit and bring awareness to the Creative Coalition, a charity that explores the ideas and issues that are at the forefront of national discourse. The Creative Coalition gives actors and members of the entertainment community, a platform to speak on the issues that affect our society. The Creative Coalition allows us to use our platform f entertainment to do more than just entertain — we educate, we motivate, and we are ready to inspire. 9 out of 10 girls admit to being affected by the way women are portrayed on TV. As a woman, and as an entertainer, we have an obligation to reach out to them and encourage a more positive and healthy body image. Other women walking in the show include Nikki Blonsky, Emme, Whitney Thompson and Toccara Jones.

While the internet jury seems to be out on whether or not they loved or hated KayCee’s bold look at Primetime Emmys last night, there’s no denying she took a risk. Overall, we think the look works for her. KayCee is a bold girl! And with the makeup making her eyes pop, we think she looked gorgeous! Plus, she felt beautiful, tweeting before she left “Getting ready for #Emmys thank you to Ozlem Dalgic (Hair) and Emmy winner Michele Teleis (make up) you make me feel so Beautiful!!”

Posing with the little minions, KayCee hammed it up on the yellow carpet of the Despicable Me premiere earlier today in Los Angeles. She wore a green patterned maxi-dress with a super cute pair of wedge heel sandals. She looked like she was having a great time at the premiere, hopefully she had just as much fun watching the movie. This fall, KayCee will be making an appearance on the online talk show Gimme Mo’. The show, hosted by friend and former co-star Monique Coleman, is a youth oriented program aimed to hit any and every topic that affects young adults. Some topics covered so far (filmed, not yet released) include gang tattoo removal and teen homelessness. No word yet on what topics KayCee’s interview covered but Monique tweeted this on Friday: “Had a beautiful interview with @kayceestroh, She’s empowering, inspiring, & real. Can’t wait for you to see it this fall on GimmeMo’”
